Angelenos just earned a new architectural landmark in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. In September, the latest contemporary art museum The Broad opened its bright white, fiberglass reinforced concrete facade to those that we able to have reserved their free ticket. Designed by architectural firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, the building provides a contrasting visual counterpart to the form-forward Walt Disney Concert Hall designed by Frank Gehry.
We got our tickets reserved for a Saturday in December and can't wait to see the Broad's collection of artists we love like Jeff Koons and Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room.
