Team Joogii wrapped up a fantastic week in Manhattan for New York Design Week where we debuted the French Touch art chair to over 17,000 visitors at WantedDesign! We met some amazing people from all over the world including our talented booth mates (shout out to Fleet Objects, The Whole Elements, Lake + Wells, Lero, Tomnuk, and Plato Lighting!) and had the opportunity to present the French Touch to a formidable panel of judges including Jaime Derringer (Design-Milk) Marva Griffin Wilshire (SaloneSatellite/Salone del Mobile), Giulio Cappellini (Cappellini) Massimo Zanatta (Marangoni Design Campus) and Noah Schwarz (Design Within Reach). And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we found out we had been nominated by Interior Design Magazine in the first every NYCxDesign Awards as an honoree in the Emerging Talent category.
